Getting involved in the Community Fun Day & Fete

A big part of working at Whitehall is getting involved in the community and the charity work we do. Working as a partner to St Helena Hospice, we threw our weight behind their annual Community Fun Day and Fete at Colchester Rugby Club.

As well as donating a brand new iPad for the Grand Draw, members of the team arrived to help out however they could. Whitehall staff could be spotted running the car park, manning stalls, having soaking sponges flung in their faces and as Dandy Lion the Hospice mascot!

There were also rugby awards, a players vs coaches rugby match, touch rugby match for parents and kids, displays from local cheerleading troupe, hog roast and BBQ food, stalls, bouncy castles and more!

The weather held out and everyone had a great day. It was all for a great cause – St Helena Hospice provide assistance to patients, families and carers throughout North and mid-Essex for those with palliative and end of life care needs.
