Whitehall Resources team joins St Helena Midnight Walk

Ten of our colleagues took up the challenge to walk nine miles in aid of St Helena last Saturday night. Participants met at about 10pm to start off the event with a Hawaiian-themed party and a Zumba warm-up session before heading out to the streets. There was a great atmosphere with a fantastic group of over 800 people taking part in the fundraising event.

The Whitehall team completed the nine-mile route as a group in the early hours of Sunday. The route took participants around Colchester and included a stop at Colchester Rugby Club, where those walking in-memory of friends and family had the opportunity to leave a tag at the memory tree before finally reaching the finish line.

We are very proud of our Whitehall team and of everyone who took part, and we also would like to thank all those who contributed by sponsoring our team and donating on our Justgiving page.

We are over the moon for having exceeded our fundraising target, collecting over £1,000 to support St Helena’s work.  Thank you everyone!
