We’re in the Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work For 2020
We’re delighted to announce that the Sunday Times has placed us in the ‘Best Small Companies to Work for’ for the fourth consecutive year.
We were recently awarded with 3 stars ‘Extraordinary’ for workplace engagement in the Best Companies Survey and have ranked in the top 100 companies across the UK confirms that we are a culture leader.

All our new starters are trained and supported from the early stages through our ‘boot camp’. They are then mentored by their team leads and managers throughout their careers here. Our career progression structure is clear and is based on realistic goals, and our in-house Learning and Development team offers support at every step. Employees who progress to team lead or managerial positions can also join the Leadership program, in which they develop the relevant skills to manage and grow a team.
Our wellbeing programme includes benefits such as medical insurance, allowance to split and sell holidays and enhanced maternity and paternity leave. In addition, we run monthly wellbeing campaigns and organise ‘Dogs at Work’ days. We recently started to provide workshops hosted by health professionals that encourage good habits for life and support our employees’ wellbeing and work-life balance.
Giving something back
We are the main sponsors of the Colchester Rugby Football Club – which we have supported since 2014, and last year we became the headline sponsor for the Essex Rebels basketball teams. Our Whitehall charity committee organises various fundraising initiatives for different charitable organisations throughout the year. Last year we supported St Helena, the National Animal Welfare Trust, Mind Colchester and Colchester Foodbank.
